The sun’s out!

Was a tad emotional the other day. haha. now i feel like a downright twit. haha i sounded like some emotional wreck. *feels embarrassed*
i guess what’s done is done. i’m going to make the best of what i have now.though i'm still slightly annoyed that i could've had VJC as my first choice. (admittedly my dream school) or even NJC cos my mum would've jumped to the high heavens with joy if i got into her school. however there's no way i could go to my dad's JC (Hua Chong)
anyway, results and schools aside, recently me and cherie have been watching Nicholas Sparks movies. okay, it was actually quite a while ago and we only watched two. heh. but Nicholas Sparks has been increasingly becoming my one fo my favourite authors.
i absolutely adore the book and now the movie. though it’s a little old it’s amazing and tremendouly touching. seriously it’s a touching love story you can’t miss out on. i think i cried as much during the movie as when i read the book and i don’t think i’ve ever cried so much while reading or watching a movie. i know i sound like some cry baby (haha) but it’s worth it. absolutely loved the movie and the book.
the other movie was A Walk to Remember. watched it on tuesday. though i’ve seen it before – watched it during 2C chalet! i think i never really understood the the movie fully until the other day and i realised it has such a beautiful story and i can’t help but LOVE it.
also for a long time i didn’t know that it has a very christian-based story, it featured loads of songs by Switchfoot, which i like very much (: and when i first watched it i had no idea it was from a book by Nicholas Sparks and when i found the book in Borders sometime last year i spazzed out haha.
which reminds me, i NEEEEED to go buy the book.
Happy Whatever’s-left-of-you-holidays!
