this was yesterday. we were surrounded by three storms, no, FOUR! actually it isn’t my first time stuck out at sea with four storms but yesterday was incredibly SCARY cause’ all around us we could see bolts of lightning strike the earth, sometimes many at a time, and afterwards usually followed by several incredibly loud crackles of thunder. honestly speaking, i was kinda terrified. haha. and on top of that the wind was just howling at top speed and we too raced up and down the course at top speeds.

then we sailed to NSC cos we were too scared to sail straight back to SAFYC (the storm was there too)

so we got towed back to SAFYC afterthat and God gave us the most spectacular, prettiest, fullest, brightest rainbow i’ve ever seen, two actually, side by side.and behind us, as we sailed east, was the most gorgeous sunset i’ve ever seen. vibrant orange red yellow and all that jazz. if i had a camera i’d take gazillions of pictures. it was breath taking i tell you. wow. rainbows in front of us, amazing sunset behind, i almost forgot to be scared of sailing on the open sea into the lightning clouds as the light of day began to fade.

we reached SAFYC in the dark, recovered our boats in the dark and derigged in the dark. i’ve never sailed to so late before.

the past week has been truly awesome! and you know what? i’m 8th! (okay out of only 19.) and i know how to play bridge now.

sigh, tomorrow back to school, a new week, a new term. i don’t even know what i look forward to in school anymore. good luck to me and everyone else, pray we survive this term.

P.S. and i haven’t finished my damn homework D:<
