SUM

BLAZING HOT yesterday.

but helping out was WAY FUN and just as tiring as racing itself.

DSC05865

went out in the morning to lay the marks for the team racing.

DSC05866

sitting on the bow of the boat with nice, ice cold drinks was nice. EXCEPT that it was AMAZINGLY HOT. yeah. i tried to get rid of my stupid tan line but now i’ve just got red thighs. ewww. so it’s now, white, red and brown. prefect...

DSC05872

we laid the start line (between the committee boat and that white mark) and spent a lot of time dragging that mark up and down.

DSC05875

then they did 3 races. overall the Lion and Elephant team tied.

then in the afternoon me and hazel had to stay on shore to help race control. was kinda bummed at first but it turned out pretty interesting and at least we didn’t have to get burnt any longer.

AH, race control is very HEADACHE. plus the kids (optimist sailors, as called by claire) are very cute and quite blur with funny handwriting so ugh, deciphering the sign on sheet was hard. then we gotta keep track of who’s paid, who hasn’t, who has signed on or not, who has changed sail number and to what.

then i also know how to key in results. Very, very cool.

it’s on again today but ah, we’ve got homework so we can’t help out no more. Zeng woon’s taking part though, hope he does well today.

i’ve found that twitter is fun and addictive and pretty stalker-ish but i don’t need another distraction.

and, DAVID ARCHULETA IS SOMEWHERE IN SINGAPORE RIGHT NOW. WOOHOO! GO STALK HIM :D

HAH. just kidding. i’ve no time to even finish homework, let alone go stalking the American Idol runner-up. he landed this morning, 1am.

Hope he enjoys Sunny Singapore! <3
