HAPPY NATIONAL DAY CELEBRATION DAY!
because it isn’t national day just yet :)
this is what we did for national day. yeah we just went to school and watched a movie. it’s called Eating Air (i watched the entire movie without knowing the name) and it’s quite an old homegrown movie. not too bad, but actually i still don’t really understand the story. haha.
but yeah, then we went home. sad right? i miss the singing and celebrations. was looking forward to that very much.National Day in TK was always the best ever. should have just stayed home instead, to study.
went to eat tepenyaki at tampines. first time i’ve tried that and i must say, it was really nice and it was just fun enough to watch that guy cook the food. yeah, then supposed to go find my brother in school and i tok some silly bus that ended up going in circles. even mummy reached him faster than i did.
then, then..then. ah there’s nothing much after that. just did filing, AND I TOOK THE WHOLE AFTERNOON! sheesh! filing is tiring.
so, yes boooooo to me, i haven’t gotten anything done yet. and this is going to KILL because according to my list of homework, this is insane, i’m NEVER EVER going to finish anything. yes, because i’m stupid.
URGHHH. i still think the world is hiding a secret from me – how to finish homework and still have time to go out and/or watch tv. i can’t seem to do it. haha so much for our oh-you-gotta-have-resilience-and-hang-tough-and-not-be-depressed chrystal (CE) lesson. isn’t it ironic that the school is trying to teach us this when school is the one of the main causes of depression in youths. and he dare say that he has pity for us. so is that the mindsets of the teachers? they pity us and yet they DONT do anything about it? is that it?
returning to our Chrystal analogy, yes, i agree, we’re like rubberbands – we should be stretched and put through toil. but like rubberbands, we have limits. there’s only so much we can take before we snap. and yes, it’s important that we be stretched beyond our limits, but just like a rubberband, you can’t do it all at once, you can’t just yank the rubberband till breaking point at one go, you gotta slowly apply more tension, allow the rubber to actually undergo some stretching. otherwise, if you just let ‘er rip and suddenly throw a rubberband into such intense pressure, you’ll just end up with a broken one.
anyway i’ve wasted enough of my precious time,
gotta get back to alkane e-learning.
goodnight. :)
